About Me
Hello, I am Tran Tran.
September 2022 – September 2025: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Focus in Computer Graphics and Simulation)
During my undergraduate studies, I took a variety of classes in web development, databases, and computer networks, but the majority of my coursework was in computer graphics and visualization, where I learned OpenGL, C++, and ArcGIS Pro. I joined a Google Hackathon, where I developed a mobile application using the Google Maps API, and this experience sparked my interest in geospatial data and GIS tools. During my senior year, I conducted research with the Extended Reality Lab, where I learned ArcGIS SDK, CityEngine, and ArcGIS Pro, as well as how to integrate ArcGIS tools to create digital twins. I also developed my capstone project in this area.
September 2025 – Present: Master of Science in Geomatics (Civil Engineering)
Here, I decided to make a slight turn from CS and pursue a degree in Geomatics, where I learned the foundations of spatial data, including how spatial data is collected, surveyed, and processed. I am currently doing research on GNSS satellite signal data and applying machine learning and deep learning techniques to monitor atmospheric changes.
